Hi Friends!

If you’ve made it over to the blog and somehow feel like you don’t already know me inside and out, I’ve made space to add a little more! My name is Jaime Matson and I am a thirty-something first-born millennial, which really should tell you all you need to know (ha!). Recently married to my husband in July of 2021, we have two little mini Aussie pups, Aspen + Echo that rule our roost. I hail originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and have somehow moved no less than 19 times across 7 states. In December 2021 my husband and I finally moved into our dream home that we built in Beavercreek, Ohio and we are thrilled to be D O N E with moving!

As I begin the Wild Rivers Photo blog, I express my hopes that it will be a safe space to share photographs, memories, tips, tricks and insight into my craft, the magic of our sessions and to best prepare you for your experience as a WRPhoto client. I look forward to sharing all of it and more BUT – for now I want to share 10 fast facts about me that help paint my own picture!

10 Fast Facts:

1. I am a foodie that LOVES to give restaurant (and meal) recommendations
2. I was a choir + theater kid and my love for them has only grown stronger
3. I grew up on Rock + Roll and have been to more Bruce Springsteen concerts than most people my parents age
4. I’m part of a monthly Euchre club
5. I coach CrossFit
6. If I could only live in lululemon Align pants, I would
7. I have my Masters degree in Marriage + Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida
8. I started skiing at 2 years old
9. My favorite TV reruns to watch are Friends, Big Bang Theory and Gilmore Girls (#TeamJess)
10. I am a big-time S W I F T I E and reputation is my favorite album
